Systems → Platforms → Ecosystems → Enterprise Transformation
Over three decades, my career has naturally evolved from building individual systems and products to creating platforms and, increasingly, helping organizations create coherence across complex distributed ecosystems.
Systems
IBM • Hughes • Infinera
Communication networks, telecom infrastructure and systems management.
Platforms
Dell • Cisco • Nutanix
Enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms and operational intelligence.
Ecosystems
SUN Mobility • Eugenie.ai
Cyber-physical systems spanning energy, mobility, AI and industrial operations.
Enterprise Transformation
VaNaShRi
Aligning platform strategy, architecture, data, operations and business stakeholders to build future-ready systems.
Where I create value
Technology Transformation
Large-scale business and technology change.
Enterprise Platforms & Distributed Ecosystems
Creating coherence across complex operational environments.
AI, Automation & Operational Intelligence
Embedding intelligence into operational systems.
Electric Mobility & Energy Systems
Mobility, energy infrastructure and cyber-physical ecosystems.
Architecture, Governance & Business Alignment
Creating structure without slowing execution.
Future-Proofing Technology Investments
Helping organizations adapt as industries evolve.
My belief
Large-scale transformation succeeds less through technical authority and more through collaborative alignment across business, operations and engineering organizations.
Selected Outcomes
Electric Mobility & Energy Systems at SUN Mobility
Built the original software platform as Chief Software Architect and later re-engaged to stabilize, re-architect, and scale one of India's largest EV battery swapping ecosystems.
- Scaled operations to 1,600+ stations supporting 100,000+ connected vehicles
- Delivered 99.9% reliability, ~30% operating cost reduction, and up to 3× increase in swap capacity
- Designed architectures supporting future growth to 10,000 stations and 1 million vehicles
- Expanded the platform from 2W/3W mobility systems to heavy EV infrastructure, including buses and trucks
- Prototyped LLM-driven operational systems that improved support turnaround by ~8×
- Contributed to 12+ joint patents
Industrial AI at Eugenie.ai
Led technology, product, and platform development to productize an Industrial AI platform for repeatable enterprise deployments across heavy industries, delivering measurable decarbonization and operational optimization outcomes.
- Applied AI to optimize steel manufacturing sintering processes, reducing emissions by over 5% in trials with large steel manufacturers in India
- Reduced consumption and waste of coke and other raw materials through AI-driven process optimization
- Established API-first architectures integrating IoT, satellite, and enterprise data sources
- Contributed to Eugenie.ai's selection into the Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change program (2023)
Enterprise Cloud at Nutanix and Cisco Systems
At Nutanix, led global engineering and architecture for enterprise hybrid cloud platforms spanning private and public cloud environments.
- Led a 100+ person global engineering organization spanning Bangalore and San Jose
- Led engineering for Prism, Nutanix's infrastructure management platform used across the global Nutanix customer base
- Owned architecture and phased execution for Nutanix Clusters for Azure, extending Nutanix infrastructure into public cloud environments
- Aligned product strategy, architecture, and engineering execution across globally distributed teams
At Cisco, led architecture for observability, operational intelligence, and serviceability across large-scale Webex Hybrid SaaS platforms.
- Owned monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics architecture for Cisco Webex Hybrid SaaS
- Built systems supporting large-scale distributed observability and platform reliability
- Drove architecture across serviceability, telemetry, and operational workflows
- Contributed to global patent review and innovation programs
Ecosystem, Leadership & IP
- Jury member, NASSCOM DeepTech Club - Emerge 50
- Jury Member, Karnataka ELEVATE and ELEVATE-Nxt for DeepTech
- Technical Program Committee, Paper Reviewer & Session Co-Chair, IEEE SPACE
- 22+ patents across US and India (10+ US, 12+ India)
- Member, global patent review committees at Dell and Cisco
- Current Research: Conducting an independent technology research and customer discovery program focused on Intelligent Energy Platforms and Mission-Aware Energy Systems, exploring how energy is evolving from a utility management function into a mission-aware operational decision-making capability in increasingly electrified, automated and AI-driven environments.
